Children's Ministry

 

Our Children’s Ministry is comprised of several different smaller ministries that meet throughout the week. Take a look below to see a brief snapshot of what the Lord is actively at work doing.

Children’s Church:  Each week, during both of our Sunday Morning services, we provide a time for child-specific Biblical instructions for ages 3-5 years old.   This serves the dual purpose of embedding the Word of God within young minds while also providing a time for parents to place all of their focus upon the Word of God.

AWANA Clubs: One of the newest additions in our Children’s Ministry is the addition of our AWANA Clubs. These clubs are designed to teach and equip our children with foundational principles based from the Word of God; while doing this, these clubs also teach the importance of The Word of God in every area of life. There are clubs available for all ages, ranging from Nursery Babies through 5th Grade. Our clubs meet every Sunday Evening at 6:00PM; they also run in line with the Rowan-Salisbury school calendar. K-5th grade Music: Our childrens choir is a program that meets Wednesdays at 6:30PM. Through music, the children will learn the books of the Bible, hymns and children's Christian music, as well as developing the primary responsibility of praising God through song in worship.  Recognizing that children develop their musical talents at an early age, this program explores the beginnings of the singing voice, recognizing and repeating simple rhythms, movements, etc. and developing these talents for the glorification of God.  We enjoy welcoming the Children's Choir to participate monthly in our Sunday services.
